Conflicting weather reports all over, so we’re planning on/for all of them. I’ll send the start list as soon as it’s done – it won’t be long. In the meantime, we can answer at least a few questions;
- START: 8:30am
- LOCATION: Beaver Run. We’re sharing a tiny corner with the Cummins folks, so PLEASE condense as much as possible.
- Be 100% situationally aware at the start. And throughout the stage. From history, it’s been a long week and nobody’s great in this regard at the start, especially when you’re being squeezed into a smaller space then usual…but you GOTTA listen to the marshals in that area tomorrow.
- CUTOFF TIME: 11am at the Peak 9 road. If the weather holds, we’ll extend that cutoff time. If it arrives earlier, we’ll shorten it. We reserve the right to make that call at any time.
- 6-day riders are still buckle eligible if they get pulled.
We’ll make every effort to give you a full stage. But when we say you’re done for the day, you’re done. It’s because we have info that you don’t. Anyone arguing with any of our people will be subject to immediate disqualification. The situation may be one where seconds matter. Having a disagreement above 12,000 feet with a storm bearing down puts other people in danger.
