Gotta make this one quick, so here are the top-line notes:

  1. What a great start. Keep it up. You earned tomorrow TODAY.
  2. Aid bag drop-off: 6:30-7:30am at the upper lot of Beaver Run (just past check-in, same as today)
  3. Check-in QR code: on all the aid and gear drop towers. Please check in every day.
  4. Race Start: just a few blocks uphill of the traditional start. STAGE TWO START – 2026
  5. U23 & Junior racers joining us tomorrow. What an opportunity for us to show these young talents what sportsmanship and community look like. Please join me in welcoming them to the field for stages 2-4.
  6. RESULTS! You can find ’em here.
  7. Abandoned Aid Bags – we need to pull this inside so animals don’t get into them. If you didn’t pick yours up last night, we’ve got it in our ops room, just inside the overhead door.
  8. GEAR DROP & LOST & FOUND: We have a Gear Drop box at every start. You leave unneeded items with us and we bring them back to the venue where you can pick them up later. There’s an item or two in the Gear Drop box back at Beaver Run. We also have a Lost and Found just inside the door of the big white tent. There are a few items in there as well.
  9. WEATHER: we may see some tomorrow. It’s slated to arrive around noon. Make sure you have what you need in your aid bags to keep you warm and safe.
  10. RACE RECAP: amazing work by Epic staffer (and legit journo) Shauna Farnell. You can read about today HERE.
  11. 3PM Monday, Aug 10 – Squirt Lube Hot Wax Application Demo with Cory Wallace, main event tent
  12. 4PM Monday, Aug 10 – “Professionalism, Paths & Pitfalls” A discussion with Orange Seal and Orange Seal Academy founder John Vargus, Yeti Cycles VP of Brand and Marketing Garrett Davis, and Neal Henderson, founder of Apex Performance Coaching – main event tent
